About this part
What it does.
The standard airbox is built to be quiet. This kit gives the engine an easier path for its air, through a larger filter and smooth pipework, and lets you hear the turbo working.
The cotton filter is washable and reusable; clean it with the maker's kit and it lasts the life of the car.

Will it make more power on its own?
It frees the engine's breathing and adds sound; the gain is biggest with a remap that uses the extra air.
Does the filter need cleaning?
Now and then. The filter is washable: clean and re-oil it with the maker's kit rather than replacing it.
