The published figures for this engine. Yours depend on the car, its condition and what is on it: the health check comes first.
Curve shape indicative, drawn from the published peak figures. Your own printout comes off our rolling road, before and after.
Who it is for
Vans and pick-ups
Loaded, towing, or both.
High mileage
Reps, taxis, long commutes.
Fleets
Several vehicles: ask us to plan a day for them.
How it works
Torque low down, not top-end power
An economy map moves the gains to where the engine works most: low revs, part throttle. The driver uses less pedal for the same pace.
How much it saves depends on the vehicle and the driving. Your reg on Check your gains shows the published figure for your engine.

Good to know
What changes, and what stays
Less pedal for the same pace
Torque arrives lower in the rev range, so the engine works less to hold its speed when it is loaded or on a hill.
Better MPG in normal driving
Lower fuel bills over the miles. How much depends on the vehicle, the load and the way it is driven.
Emissions kept working
The DPF, EGR and AdBlue stay fitted and working, as the law asks of a road vehicle. If one has a fault, we fix it.
Healthy first
The free health check reads fault codes, boost and fuelling before anything is written. A tired engine is put right first.
Your original saved
Read and kept before we write anything, so the vehicle can always go back to standard.
In writing
A receipt with what was changed, for your records and for your insurer.
Several vehicles?
One day, the whole fleet
Bring them in together and we plan the day so they are off the road for as little time as possible: health check, read, map, check, and back to work.
Tell us how many there are and what they are, and we come back with a plan for the day.

On the day
Book it, check it, map it, prove it.

Questions
FAQs.
Is a remap safe for my engine?
Yes. When a remap is written specifically for your car and the engine is in good health, it stays well within the limits the parts were designed for. That’s why we start with a free health check, and why all our software is developed and either road-tested or tested on our rolling road. If we find a fault, we’ll fix it first. We never tune a car until it’s healthy.
Will it affect my insurance or warranty?
Yes. Tell your insurer. A remap is a modification, and most insurers cover it once it’s declared. If your car is still under warranty, the manufacturer could refuse claims on related parts, so speak to us before booking.
Can it go back to standard?
Yes. Before we make any changes, we read and securely save the car’s original factory file. If you ever want or need to return it to standard, we can simply write the original file back on to the car.
How long does it take?
Most Stage 1 remaps are done on the same day. Dyno sessions, gearbox tuning and Stage 2 or 3 tuning take a little longer; we’ll give you a time estimate when you book.
Do you remap at shows and events?
Yes! We attend a range of car shows and events throughout the year, and you can see where we’ll be on our social media pages or our events calendar. Spaces can be limited, so please get in touch beforehand to check we can support your vehicle and book your slot.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. We offer flexible finance options, so you can spread the cost into manageable monthly payments. Just let us know when you book and we can discuss your options. Subject to status.
