Workshop terms

Draft for MMT Performance to approve before the new site goes live.

01Who does the work

MMT Performance Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 11594300, VAT GB 351 981 679), registered office Marlborough House, 2 Charnwood Street, Derby DE1 2GT; workshop and trading address Unit 1, 659–663 Nuthall Road, Nottingham, NG8 6AF.

02Before we start

  • Every remap starts with a free health check. We may refuse or postpone work on a vehicle with a fault until it is fixed.
  • We tell you what we will do and the price before we start, and ask before doing anything more.
  • We read and keep your vehicle’s original software before we write anything, so it can be put back to standard.

03How we do the work

Work is carried out with reasonable care and skill (Consumer Rights Act 2015). Figures on our site are typical for the engine; your vehicle’s result depends on its condition, fuel and hardware, and a dyno session measures it before and after.

04Your vehicle and the law

  • A remap is a modification: tell your insurer.
  • A manufacturer’s warranty may not cover parts a remap could affect: ask us before booking if your vehicle is under one.
  • Emissions equipment on a road vehicle stays in place and working. Software changes to DPF, EGR, AdBlue or catalyst systems are for competition and off-road vehicles only.

05Booking and cancelling

A booking is confirmed by WhatsApp or email. Please tell us as soon as you can if you cannot make it. If you are a consumer and booked online or by phone, you can cancel within 14 days of booking; if you asked us to do the work in that time, you pay for what was done before you cancelled.

06If something is not right

Tell us: we look at the vehicle again. If the work was not done with reasonable care and skill, we put it right, or refund some or all of the price if we cannot. Your statutory rights are not affected.

07Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
