About this part
What it does.
The standard airbox is built to be quiet. This kit gives the engine an easier path for its air, through a larger filter and smooth pipework, and lets you hear the turbo working.
The airbox is enclosed, so it breathes cool air from outside rather than hot air from the engine bay.

Will it make more power on its own?

Does the filter need cleaning?
Now and then. The filter is washable: clean and re-oil it with the maker's kit rather than replacing it.
