About this part
What it does.
A turbo heats the air it compresses; the intercooler cools it again before it reaches the engine. Cooler air is denser air: more power, and less of it pulled back by the engine when it gets hot.
This core is larger than the standard one, with vanes in the end tank that spread the air across all of it. It bolts in where the original goes.
